Yesterday was payday! I added to the "funds." I put $400 toward the TFSA, $100 into the Travel Fund, $100 into the Christmas Fund, and $50 into the Computer Fund. This puts my ING savings funds (combined) over the $10,000 mark! Wow, that's pretty crazy! A year ago I was in debt to my family and now I am in the green!
I have been thinking and I think I want to start a furniture fund. I'd like some new bedroom furniture. Even if it's like $10 a month or so. But maybe I won't do that until my other funds are completed. I haven't even STARTED to contribute to my RSP this year so I really should focus on that before I start a furniture fund.
It's easy to get carried away with the funds. I want to have a bunch! Maybe a Future Pet Fund, a House Fund, a Jewellery Fund (there is a necklace I really want but can't justify spending the money), a Clothing Fund, a Electronics Fund, a Car Fund, a Car Repair Fund etc. Oh the endless possibilities!!

Merry Christmas!!
April Fools! It's not Christmas. Did I get ya?? Okay my April Fools jokes are pretty lame. My mom did trick me this morning. She asked if I was working, and when I said no she said, "Well if you do get work today make sure you wear something warm because it snowed again." It was early and I believed her for about 2.2 seconds then said, "Haha April Fools." She did get me though. Then I texted my BF and roommate who are both coming up this weekend and told them the same thing, that we have snow again. My roommate believed me! BF hasn't texted me back yet, but I'm sure he won't be fooled.
Today was also a payday! Early payday because tomorrow is a holiday! So I paid off my MC and paid $300 to my TFSA. Side bars are updated. I also threw an extra $40 to my Family Loan just to make it an even number.
Some April goals are to pay $1000 to my family loan. I'm hoping I get enough work in the next two weeks to be able to do this!! I want to put at least $150 toward the Holland fund, and another $150 toward my roommates wedding fund. We are buying them a wii. I think I will end up buying the gift (if I can FIND one available somewhere!!) and BF will pay for the hotel. Ideas of where to buy a wii?? Has anyone seen one available in Ontario somewhere?!? They have been sold out for the past two months I have been looking!

Updated Savings
Today was payday. It was a small paycheque, next one will be better. However I was still able to update my savings with it. I put $250 toward my TFSA, $100 toward Christmas/Gift, and $100 toward travel. Feels nice to see those progress bars grow!!
My next paycheque will go toward my CC (stuff I purchase this month), and debt. I'm looking foward to it!

How To Make Progress Bars
Some people have been wondering how to make progress bars. They are actually easier to make even though the HTML code is tricky. But here is one version of progress bars. First you need to go to the "Layout" section of the Blogger and then "Add a Gadget." From there you need to add the "HTML/Java Script" gadget. Create a title for your progress bars and then add the following into the content section.
<b><font color="#3366FF">TFSA</font></b><br/>
Current $350
<div style="width:240px;height:15px;background:#A9D0F5;border:solid 1px #555;" class="goal">
<div style="height:15px;background:#3366FF;color:white;width:23.3%;" class="progress"><b>23.3%</b>
</div>
</div>
<div style="font-size:10px;float:left;">$0</div><div style="font-size:10px;float:right;">$1,500</div>
From this you can change the colours, the width of the progress bars, and of course the percentages and goals. Where there are numbers combined with letters is where you can change the colours. You can change the colours easily by going to this site and copying the colour code http://html-color-codes.com/ to what you would like. Play with it a little bit, if you mess it up just re-copy and paste it until you get something you like. I hope this works for you! If you have any questions please ask!
