July was a great month financially! I didn't spend very much and was able to put quite a bit into savings!!
Car and Gas (15%) ACTUAL: 8% Only spent on gas, and also a bottle of oil.
Phone (4%) ACTUAL: 5% This was because I also had to pay on the houseline for some long-distance charges I made.
Food (4%) ACTUAL: 2%
Restaurant (4%) ACTUAL: 2%
Personal/Medical (6%) ACTUAL 0% Woo!
Clothing (5%) ACTUAL: 2% Had to buy a dress for work.
Gifts (2%) ACTUAL 1%
Education (2%) ACTUAL 0%
Entertainment (4%) ACTUAL 1% Movies
Everything Else (3%) ACTUAL: 2% Speeding ticket.
TOTAL (48%) ACTUAL 23%!! Wooo! This definietly makes up for the past month.
Now let's look at the SAVINGS I did this month.
TFSA (35%) ACTUAL: 41%
Christmas (5%) ACTUAL: 0% Done with this category now
Computer (3%) 25% I think part of this will go to a new camera or furniture. Decisions!
RRSP (6%) ACTUAL: 10%
Travel Fund (3%) ACTUAL: 0%
TOTAL (52%) ACTUAL 77%
So happy with this month! I managed to finish all of my financial goals. I worked a TON but it paid off. I am ready for my vacation. I hope I can do well in August as well. My goals for August will continue to be to put money toward the TFSA and Computer fund, and work as much as I can.
This is nice. Being busy really helps with your finances.
ReplyDeleteI like that you use percents so everyone can compare their own spending. The only thing is I find it really hard to read; I think some organizing or columns would help.
